We’ve all been there. Staring at a blank document with your cursor flashing at you…the ultimate symbol of “I have no idea where to start.” Some may think that you only find yourself in this situation at 3am in the library basement during college, but little do you know this can also happen in the creative world. As Production Manager it’s my goal to make sure that our creative team is never sitting at their desk with blank screens and no idea where to go next.

Funny thing is we all associate the creative world with sayings like, “think outside the box,” “sky’s the limit” or “creative freedom,” however that is seldom the case for implementing effective and strategic projects. Our clients come to us with specific pain points, needs that aren’t being met and marketing goals that must be achieved. With that in mind, we partner with our clients and their goals become our goals, their needs are our needs and their pain is our pain. We are partners out to achieve the same outcome and those goals require unique executions.

Before we begin brainstorming about how to solve the creative challenge at hand we must take a step back to establish the structure and framework in which we are to work. All projects have three constraints that build the project structure and ensure quality; cost, time and scope. We believe it is important to establish the structure early on, although it does need to occasionally resurface for evaluation, as things can change throughout the duration of a project.

If you are wondering how you are going to achieve your marketing goals, contact us so we can begin building the structure for your creative success.

We’ve all been there.
